I can't recommend Jane highly enough.
She came out to work on my mare, who has had a genuinely hard time of it over the years. Between the old injuries and the trauma that came with them, she'd arrived at a point where she had very little patience for anyone new turning up in her paddock, and she made that very clear. I wasn't sure how a first session was going to go.
Jane read her straight away. She worked calmly and at exactly the pace the mare needed — no rushing, no forcing, plenty of time given to let her settle and decide for herself that this was all right. What impressed me most, though, is that being patient never turned into being ineffective. The essential work still got done. Jane found the places that needed attention and worked through them properly, just on the mare's terms rather than the clock's.
The difference over time has been lovely to watch. As the physical problems around the old injury began to improve, the mare really came round in herself. She's softer, more willing, and far more settled about being handled than she was — and a lot of the wariness has quietly fallen away with the discomfort.
Something else I really valued was that Jane didn't just treat and leave. We worked out a coordinated approach together, so what I was doing between sessions supported what she'd done in them. Jane has elegantly, and professionally created an alternative to the 2 dimensional, flat webnars, that spit out reams of left brain info, yet somehow leave out a way to integrate what is happening to these majestic animals. Her platform of presentation as a " Bloginar" is brilliant. I have developed a resistance to watching the grinding webnars out there, but as I started to watch this, my anxiety left, and I was absorbed in following her lead.
By the time she finished, I was wanting more....
I am refreshed and renewed with hope.
