The BEMER devices issue a unique, bio-rhythmically defined signal that has a complex tuned configuration and timing.
The flux density (magnetic strength) and frequency (electrical wave) are very different to other devices, being considerably lower.
This is the whole point – the signal is targeting electrical impulses in the body that activate the smooth muscle responsible for vasomotion, pushing blood through the vast network of arterioles and venules.
The signal was identified and patented following research into the human BEMER devices, which are medically registered in Europe.
The BEMER Blanket is equipped with 19 coils. The Leg Cuffs have 3 coils each, while the Neck Applicator has 12 coils. Images (c) BEMER Group.
The BEMER Signal
This patented signal is created through the flexible, flat electric coils, which are strategically positioned to deliver the signal into key areas of the body.
The signal itself consists of a series of sawtooth waves. Starting out with low values, the intensity initially increases slowly and then drops again to a value that is still at a higher level than the initial value.
This sequence repeats itself, while the intensity variations gets denser, and the drift from the zero line gradually increases (see the following illustration). The ups and downs keep getting steeper. After multiple waves within 2 minutes, there is a pause, and the magnetic field changes polarity, before the sequence resumes.
This is described in numerous ‘human’ medical research papers.
Settings
The Bemer controller unit offers three settings, each longer in duration, and with a higher magnetic intensity at the peak of the wave.
Although obviously smaller in size, the leg cuffs have a higher flux intensity than the blanket, and the signal has a higher range.
Note that flux density = magnetic strength, while frequency = electrical output.
